Hey! I’m Kevin – a tattoo artist based in the heart of Durbanville, and someone who’s obsessed (in the best way) with the art of tattooing.
I didn’t grow up around tattoos – in fact, where I’m from, they were pretty rare. But the moment I discovered this world, I was hooked. What started as curiosity quickly turned into a full-blown passion, and now I’m lucky enough to turn that passion into a career.
I love that tattoos can be so much more than art. They can be healing, empowering, deeply personal – or sometimes just really cool. Whether it’s helping someone honour a loved one, tell their story, or simply create something beautiful on their skin, it’s always a privilege to be part of that journey.
When it comes to style, I don’t like to box myself in. I work across a variety of tattoo styles and love the freedom that brings. That said, I do have a soft spot for illustrative tattoos, dark-themed pieces, floral and nature tattoos, and anything with bold linework and contrast. Outside of tattooing, I like to keep it low-key – making jewellery, hanging out in nature, and planning future camping trips. Right now though, I’m pouring all my energy into growing my little creative space in a salon filled with awesome, like-minded artists.
